Oasis NeuroClinic is a therapeutic environment designed for adults with autism, where spatial clarity and sensory balance create a calm and predictable experience. Inspired by the rhythm of desert landscapes, the design unfolds gradually, guiding users through soft transitions rather than abrupt changes.
The project emphasizes intuitive movement through clear spatial organization, allowing users to navigate the clinic with ease and confidence. Natural light, controlled textures, and a restrained material palette reduce overstimulation, creating a grounded environment that supports emotional regulation, comfort, and well-being.
Project Walkthrough
A walkthrough illustrating how spatial clarity, sensory control, and gradual transitions shape a calm and predictable clinical environment.

Rendered Floor Plans – Spatial Organization
The floor plans illustrate the organization of the clinic across two levels, structured to prioritize clarity, intuitive movement, and sensory comfort. The ground floor (left) is arranged around a central circulation spine that connects all public functions, including reception, waiting areas, and primary patient zones. This layout creates a clear and legible environment, allowing users to navigate the space with ease and reducing anxiety associated with wayfinding.
The first floor (right) extends the patient experience while introducing more controlled and private zones, including additional consultation rooms and staff areas. Spaces are distributed to maintain visual and acoustic separation, ensuring privacy while supporting a smooth and predictable flow throughout the clinic. The overall organization reinforces a calm and structured environment, where movement remains continuous, clear, and manageable at every stage.

Rendered Section – Spatial Experience
The section illustrates how the clinic’s spaces unfold vertically, emphasizing gradual transitions in height, light, and enclosure to support a calm and predictable experience. Open areas are balanced with more controlled and enclosed zones, allowing users to move between different levels of stimulation without abrupt change.
Natural light is carefully diffused throughout the space, while soft forms and continuous surfaces guide movement and reduce visual stress. The section highlights how spatial layering, rather than separation, creates a coherent environment that supports comfort, orientation, and emotional regulation.
Spaces
Calm. Clarity. Sensory flow.
The clinic is organized as a sequence of spaces that prioritize clarity, comfort, and sensory balance. Each zone is carefully structured to support different stages of experience, from arrival to consultation, allowing movement to feel intuitive and controlled. Soft transitions, natural materials, and layered lighting create a cohesive environment that promotes calm, focus, and emotional ease.
